FAQs
I am not sure what work needs to be done to my tree/hedge, can you provide advice and a quote?
If you would like to contact us we would be happy to arrange an appointment to discuss your requirements and provide a free, no obligation quote.
Are you insured?
Yes, we hold public liability, professional indemnity and employers liability insurance. Copies of our insurance certificate are available for inspection on request.
I am not sure if my property is within a Conservation Area or if any of my trees have Tree Preservation Orders on them?
If you accept a quote from us then we will automatically check with your Local Planning Authority (LPA) to see if there are any restrictions. If your property is within the Conservation Area, or there are trees covered by a TPO, we will submit the relevant application on your behalf.
My property is within a Conservation Area, what does that mean if I want to have tree work done?
Your Local Planning Authority (LPA) will need to give consent before the work is carried out. If you ask us to carry out tree work then we will submit the relevant application to the LPA on your behalf. The LPA is allowed six weeks from receipt of the application to inform us of their decision, although it can sometimes take longer.

Are there any exemptions if my property is within a Conservation Area or has Tree Preservation Orders?
Work to a tree, or part of a tree which is dead or dangerous does not require Local Planning Authority consent, although before any work is carried out the LPA should be informed and where possible given five working days' notice.
